This widget is a combo-box two choose between two options
relative to the direct solar flux contribution.
- Constant direction source : this can be usefull to study a particular aspect of shadowing effect (during a small interval of time)
- Astronomic solar position : this option can be used on transient lasting
a longer time like a day or more and takes into account the estimated position of the sun.
It requires of course to indicate precisely the position of the component to be studied,
as well as its orientation. Likewise, the exact time of the year is necessary, since the position of the
sun in the sky depends of the date considered.
This option works better with meteorological file in which solar radiation (diffuse and direct parts) are indicated.
This option has been coded and validated by the authors
but has not yet been extensively used by other users. Therefore, in
the future one may change slightly the way to enter some of these parameter
to improve some aspects of the solar module ergonomy.
